![]() ![]() My question is, is this something I can fix with a particular setting? (There actually aren't many settings available in Lightroom.) Or is this just a faulty app in general? Can I fix it by deleting preferences or any such thing? they all have great performance on my iMac. ![]() No other apps I use seem to have this problem, even other pro apps like Logic Pro, Pixelmator, Adobe's own Photoshop. Even switching to Lightroom from another app takes seconds to respond. Most interface actions outside of Detail View take at least a second, or several seconds, to feedback on the screen. Editing a single image works well enough, but scrolling through my library in grid view is horribly slow. Lightroom CC, which I guess Apple recommends as a replacement for the unfortunately discontinued Aperture, doesn't perform well at all. Performance was always smooth, even with large numbers of RAWs, even on consumer models like the earlier iMacs. One of the things I loved about Apple's Aperture (and all of Apple's photo solutions) was how effortlessly they handled large photo libraries. ![]()
